This has helped some but I run the risk of being exposed by probing Destroyers. To combat being abandoned by the fleet and still trying not to be spotted by the enemy Torpedo Bombers and Dive Bombers I've been going to non standard locations for CV's. ![]() At T4 and T5 I find that most Cruisers will not hang back and protect CV's even if there are two CV's in the battle. These speeds don't allow us to keep up with the fleet as even our Battleships, the Wyoming (20.5 knots) and New York (21.0 knots) easily pull away from us and the New York's AA ability is dismal. The speed of the Langley (15.0 knots) and the Bogue (16.5 knots). ![]() I've occasionally grown frustrated by a few things and wonder if there are better ideas out there or would like to understand how other early USN CV captains deal with these issues.ġ. I've only played in 24 battles in Random Battles so lacking experience I would like some advice from the USN CV community please. ![]()
